BOMB VOYAGE!
A whole VRChat world built for one show. Names come out of the bucket, guest panelists judge the sets, and when a comic bombs the stage takes it personally.

What Bomb Voyage! is
Bomb Voyage! is a stand-up comedy bucket show that runs every Wednesday at 9:00 PM Central in VRChat. Comics put their names in the bucket, the host pulls them at random, and each comic gets a short set in front of a live crowd and a panel of guest judges. Do well and you get the room. Bomb and the trap door under the stage opens. Trust us, you don't want to know what's down there.
Unlike our other two nights, Bomb Voyage! has its own purpose-built world. The stage, the panel desk, the trap door and the pyrotechnics were all designed for this format, which is why it looks like a game show that a comedy club got loose inside of. It is the loudest, fastest night of the week and the one most people send clips of.
How the bucket works
Arrive before showtime and put your name in with the host. Order is random, so nobody knows when they are up. Sets are short by design, usually three to five minutes, and the panel reacts live. New comics are welcome, and the format is forgiving: everybody bombs on Bomb Voyage! eventually, and the crowd is there for it.
How to watch
The show streams live every Wednesday on Kick, no headset or account required. To be in the room, join the Failed To Render group in VRChat and enter the Bomb Voyage world from the group instance a few minutes before 9 PM Central. VRChat runs on PC in desktop mode as well as on Quest, Index, Frame and Beyond headsets, so the headset is optional.
Why a bucket show
Bucket shows are how comedy scenes find their next wave. A random order and a live panel strip away the politics of a booked lineup and leave the set to stand on its own. In VR that becomes its own kind of theater: avatars from every time zone, a crowd that reacts in real time, and a trap door that keeps everyone honest.
